Assignment 3A: Your Entrepreneurship Story

Both of my parents are entrepreneurs. They both started their own businesses when they moved down to FL over 25 years ago. My dad opened up his own restaurant then his own car lot. My mom is the owner of a logistics shipping company. I want to follow in their footsteps one day.

I led a group project in my media planning class last spring. I was the team leader and led discussions and managed the group. I divided the group up based on our skills. I taught the entire class how to use the Commspoint tool since no one took charge to get it early and practice.

I led a class in my Lithuanian community school every Sunday while I was in high school. I created lesson plans for the children between the ages of 4 and 7. I still participate in the Lithuanian community school as much as I can so I can give back to my community.

I enrolled in this class because I am interesting in being an entrepreneur one day. I want to start my own business in event planning! I'm interested in planning events for large parties and weddings!

  1. That is an amazing story. Always great to hear people using entrepreneurship to give back to their community. U seem to have a great mind combined with great values which I believe is that most important thing to succeed. U should have maybe detailed a little bit more about your parent businesses and if any of those are still operational today and succeeded.
