Overall, I received positive feedback. Most people said I did a great job with being confident and having my pitch memorized. Everyone said I changed what I needed to and that it really showed a difference. From the last pitch, I received some feedback about adding in more statistics about plastic use and alternatives to plastic.

Based on the feedback, I continued to not use my arms and memorized my pitch. I also added in new statistics. I decided to be more enthusiastic as well because I seemed to be kind of bored. This has been a great practice experience and I enjoyed doing it.
I made comments for your last two "speeches" and I have to say that you really listened to the feedbacks. You used your positive feedbacks in order to make a better speech and that's what this assignment required. You spoke clearly and with great gestures. You were focused on the main subject and used great examples. Very good job from you and keep it up for the next few assignments !

ReplyDeleteStarting with that shocking statistic about the number of water bottles Americans used last year was a great way to get the viewer's attention. Providing examples of plastic alternatives also helps to solidify the fact that there are plenty of ways to cut down on our plastic use. I commented on your last elevator pitch, and I can definitely see the improvements on your latest attempt. Great job!
