The feedback that I received from my first elevator pitch was overall positive. There was one piece of advice that I definitely used. One person told me to not use my arms as much because it can create a distraction.
After receiving great feedback, I decided to memorize my pitch all of the way, which made me more confident in my idea. I also did not wave my arms around. Overall, I believe I improved and would love some more feedback how I can improve even more on my third elevator pitch.
You did a great job! I remember your first video and we can see the improvement. I have no critics for this work as I believe you met every criteria mentioned in class. You stayed calm and sticked to your point. I did not loose focus a single second while watching your speech. Keep this mindset of willing to improve your talking skills, thats the only way you can improve yourself.
ReplyDeleteHi Monica. I think that this version of your elevator pitch was excellent and really support your decision to use your arms less. I often get carried away with my arm movements as well and forget that people like to concentrate on them. Your explanation was very easy to follow and was to the point. I look forward to seeing this idea grow even more! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteYour demeanor in your pitch was very calm and confident. I think your elevator pitch could benefit from more specific information, such as statistics of how plastic is damaging the environment, the average price of plastic alternatives, how many plastic water bottles are used every year, etc. Overall, your elevator pitch was well done and your marketing idea at the end of your pitch to reach your audience is a great strategy!
After watching your latest elevator pitch, you have made some serious improvements. I can tell by your eye contact and confidence that you had your speech memorized and had practiced beforehand. Not to mention, I think that the decision to lessen your arm movements made it seem more professional. I think Kenzie's idea about statistics is a very helpful idea. With concrete and verified information, you can quantify the problem easily.
